I have not encountered any of these problems... this game is excellent!
Launch day 360, works like a charm.

Not many people really wait for RPGs like this. Therefore if 8 or so is the lowest for this then all is fine at least for now :)
I did buy Assassin's Creed for 360 today and I have to say it is damn sweet game. Definitely AAA. It looks incredible and plays as well. What comes to repetitive missions, I personally don't find them repetitive.. not more than for example late AAA FPS games for 360. They got lvls/episodes and repetitive shooting.. kinda similar thing.

Giving undeserved ratings (high or low) is todays hip thing to do.
This was not about if there can be loooong game that looks great and is not doable with PS3. This was about people saying that GTA4 is gimped because of 360 DVD drive.
Anyhow, about the long and undoable with PS3 game, only one comes to mind. UBI said the next Splinter Cell will be 360 exclusive just because they don't know how to make the lighting work with PS3. Again you can say it is because of the lazy devs.. maybe, maybe they could learn to do it. Is it worth it?.. dunno. ...
Assassin's Creed, COD4 and especially Mass Effect ( + all the previous titles) will keep 360 as hot as ever and even hotter through the Christmas.
I can't see why this is above the other PS3 games. It is mostly just texture work. Not mind blowing shader work. Any game looks better in movement though, so don't take me wrong. I find these pictures really messy looking. It looks good, I can say that, but it is not the BEST WE HAVE EVER SEEN!.. no not at all.
Game is fun though, based on demo, and gotta respect the fast moving around compared to Tomb Raider for example....hrrr those we annoyingly slow.
There is not going to be WoW2 before there is a game that beats the first WoW hands down.
The price is not the problem really.. just skip the last 1-2 beers. (yep, it's hard) ;)
If you did not know, the achievements are part of the games, you already play the game so what's wrong with extra "goals" in it. Achievements are a little expansion to the game itself.
Achievements actually makes me sometimes play the games I've already finished that don't have much replay value without achievements.
Achievements works especially with all the cool arcade titles 360 has to offer, if you get 200/200 you really feel like you beat the game ...
Currently the only reason the devs really need blu-ray is just because they have to save the textures etc. multiple times to make games at least somewhat playable.
Getting data off the blue ray drive takes twice as long as it does to get the same data off the 360's DVD drive.

It comes with one DVD just because they want to make it for 360, just because it will be so much better (again) in 360. They don't know how to make it for PS3, therefore it is only a port (again) for PS3.
Enjoy.. not so nice frame rates and not that nice lighting.

WoW when I first time started it was really really interesting and kept me playing. Mood was just perfect and gameplay really smooth.
Tabula Rasa... right from the start it felt boring for some reason. I did not even want to talk to the NPCs. I waited so much more, it was (to me) huge disappointment. It did not even look that good what I thought it will. Maybe I should have given it a chance, but .. well it did not work for me, I knew...
In that case.. WAIT BEYOND.
People are already waiting for games, think about waiting the PS4.. wow.
Without live, so many precious online moments would have not happened.

When Mass Effect is out I don't give a rats ass what is happening in real world. I'm so going to fall into the game and I prolly won't come back to this world for a loooooooooong time.(that is what most here hopes I bet).
All PS3 games are full of bots.

There has been too many good games for 360 lately, therefore all the reviewers has started to wonder if their reviews are right due the 10/10.. so they try to be really really strict now even if they like the game.
There is not enough good movies to pick yet. I know it is a taste issue.
